It’s been said that we draw closer to God in our suffering. I do not doubt that. But we can also draw close in our joy.
I’ve had over two years of settling in and settling down in a new place. Two years of time to reflect and time to write. Two years of freedom to live and opportunity to learn. Two years not without fears but filled with gratitude.
It is a time of refreshing. God prepared a place, a people, and a church for me to return to Him. It’s a reprieve after a very hard life, a time to grow into the gifts He has given me and to appreciate His grace. Why? There is no answer other than His infinite mercy.
