God has a creative bent. He likes to take nothing and make something out of it. When He does that instantaneously, we call it a miracle. When He takes his time, we sometimes miss it—or, worse—claim the creative power as our own: “God didn’t have anything to do with it. I did it all myself.”
Miracles are happening all around us, even in us, all the time. God’s presence bursts upon the scene or slowly infiltrates it. He chooses. He acts. He loves. And He wins over the darkness in our souls! Let’s cooperate with our creative Creator.
